Day 98 – Posh potties

Bangkok, Thailand (18.07.2013)

Today I am breaking my one-photo-per-day rule to showcase the toilets of the world in the Terminal 21 mall in Bangkok (BTS: Asoke). There is something totally off-beat (in a good way, I think) about a city that would invest this much energy in their toilets.

The toilets themselves are pretty fancy, with space-age wash & dry functions and the ability to control seat and water temperature:

Bananas, right?

  1. It’s entertaining though 😀

Yeah, it’s awesome. The whole mall is themed and the shops are laid out like you would find in the particular city. E.g. The Istanbul level is like a bazaar selling jewellery and accessories and the London floor is like walking through the old streets around covert garden
